FAQ
How do I ask Yasmina to play rain sounds for sleep?
Say something like: “Yasmina, play rain sounds,” or “Yasmina, play rain sounds for sleeping.” You can also add a time, for example: “for 30 minutes” (example).
Can I loop rain sounds all night for my kids?
Yes. Say: “Yasmina, play rain sounds all night,” or “Yasmina, loop rain sounds.” You can also set a sleep timer so it stops after a set time.
How do I set a sleep timer with rain sounds?
First start the sound, then say: “Yasmina, set a sleep timer for 1 hour” (example). The rain will stop when the timer ends, and the device will go quiet.
Can Yasmina mix rain sounds with Quran for my kids’ routine?
You can play them one after the other. For example, play a short Quran recitation first, then ask: “Yasmina, play rain sounds for sleep.” They do not play at the same time.
Is rain sound volume safe for children at night?
Keep the volume low to medium. As a simple rule, if you can talk comfortably over the sound, it is usually fine. Avoid very loud levels near a child’s ear.
Can I use rain sounds during kids’ nap time only?
Yes. Start rain sounds, then say: “Yasmina, stop in 45 minutes” (example) or set a sleep timer. This helps keep the sound only for the nap period.
Do I need a subscription for rain and white noise sounds?
Some sounds may work without a subscription, and some may need one. If a sound needs a subscription, Yasmina will tell you and suggest what to do next.
Which Yasmina device is better for rain sounds in kids’ room?
For a small kids’ room, a Lite or Mini is usually enough (example). For a larger room, a Max can fill the space more evenly. Choose based on room size and budget.
