FAQ
Can I set more than one timer in the kitchen with Yasmina?
Yes. You can set several timers at the same time. For example: “Yasmina, set a pasta timer for 10 minutes” and then “set an oven timer for 30 minutes.”
How do I name different kitchen timers so I do not mix them up?
Say the food name when you set the timer. For example: “Set a chicken timer for 40 minutes” or “Set a rice timer for 15 minutes.” Yasmina will use these names when they finish.
How do I check how much time is left on my timers?
Ask: “Yasmina, how much time is left on my timers?” or “How much time is left on the pasta timer?” She will tell you the remaining time for each timer.
How do I cancel one specific timer in the kitchen?
Say: “Yasmina, cancel the rice timer” or “stop the oven timer.” If you say “cancel all timers,” she will stop every running timer.
Can I use Arabic and English together for timers?
Yes. You can mix both languages. For example: “Yasmina, set timer la-l-makarona for 8 minutes” or “حطي تايمر للرز 20 دقيقة.” She should understand both.
Will timers still work if music or Quran is playing?
Yes. Timers run in the background. When a timer ends, Yasmina will play an alarm sound and say which timer finished, even if audio is playing.
Do timers keep working if the internet goes down?
If the internet cuts after you set the timer, it may still ring, but some features can fail. For reliable timers, try to keep the device online as much as possible.
Can I use kitchen timers on all Yasmina speakers in my home?
Timers are usually linked to the device where you set them. For example, a timer set in the kitchen will ring on that kitchen speaker. Use the same device for all cooking timers.
