FAQ
Can Yasmina tell me prayer times for my emirate?
Yes. You can ask, for example: “What are today’s prayer times in Dubai?” or “Prayer times in Abu Dhabi.” Yasmina will list the times for that emirate.
How do I set my emirate so prayer times are accurate?
Say something like: “Set my location to Sharjah” or “I live in Ajman.” Yasmina will use this as your default emirate for prayer times and reminders.
Can I ask for prayer times in a different emirate than my own?
Yes. Just include the emirate name. For example: “Maghrib time in Ras Al Khaimah” or “Fajr in Fujairah today.”
Does Yasmina adjust prayer times for my exact area in the emirate?
Yasmina uses your emirate and typical city area as a base. Times are an estimate/example and may differ by a few minutes from a local mosque.
Can Yasmina remind me before each prayer?
Yes. Say: “Remind me 10 minutes before every Maghrib” or “Set daily reminders for all prayers.” You can later say: “Stop Maghrib reminders” to cancel.
Can I choose a calculation method for prayer times?
In some setups you can pick a method in the app or settings. If you do not see this, Yasmina will use a common local method as an estimate/example.
Does Yasmina work in both Arabic and English for prayer times?
Yes. You can ask in Arabic or English. For example: “Prayer times in Dubai today” or the same question in Arabic, and Yasmina will answer.
Do I need a subscription for prayer times and Quran features?
Basic Islamic features like prayer times and Quran recitation may work without a subscription in some setups. Extra content may need an active subscription.
