FAQ
Can I set more than one timer in the kitchen with Yasmina?
Yes. You can set several timers at the same time. Each timer can have its own name, like “pasta timer” or “oven timer.”
How do I start a simple kitchen timer with Yasmina?
Say something like: “Yasmina, set a timer for 10 minutes.” This will start one timer with that duration as an example.
How do I set multiple named timers for different dishes?
Say: “Yasmina, set a pasta timer for 8 minutes” and then “set a chicken timer for 30 minutes.” Each timer will run separately as an example.
How do I check how much time is left on my timers?
Say: “Yasmina, how much time is left on my timers?” or “How much time is left on the pasta timer?” Yasmina will tell you the remaining time as an example.
How do I cancel or stop a specific kitchen timer?
Say: “Yasmina, cancel the pasta timer” or “stop the oven timer.” If you say “cancel all timers,” all running timers will stop as an example.
Can I pause and resume a timer while cooking?
If supported on your device version, say: “Yasmina, pause the pasta timer,” then later “resume the pasta timer.” If not supported, you may need to cancel and set a new timer.
Will timers still work if I am playing music or stories?
Yes. Timers can run in the background while you listen to music or stories. When a timer ends, Yasmina will play an alert sound over the audio as an example.
Can I use kitchen timers without a subscription?
Basic timers usually work without a subscription as an example. Some advanced features may need an active subscription, depending on your plan and device.
